How to use the wedding planning app
Install the free app and plan your Bali wedding together: budget, guests and RSVP, checklist, rundown and quotes.
The balibridal wedding planning app is free. It works on your phone and on your computer, and it keeps everything for your Bali wedding in one place.
1. Register
Go to My wedding and enter your names, email, wedding date (or "not decided yet") and budget. We email you a button to open your plan and a 6-digit code.
2. Install the app
- iPhone (Safari): tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Android (Chrome): tap Install on the page, or menu ⋮ then Install app.
- Computer (Chrome or Edge): click the install icon in the address bar. On a Mac with Safari: File, then Add to Dock.
In the installed app, log in with your email and the 6-digit code from the email. See Get the app for pictures.
3. Invite your partner
On the Home screen, under Plan together, enter your partner's name and email and tap Send invitation. Your partner gets their own link and login code and sees the same plan: everything one of you changes, the other sees. Only the person who registered can resend or remove the invitation.
4. Use the tools
- Home: your countdown and a quick view of budget, guests, checklist and quotes.
- Quotes: every vendor you contacted and every quote they sent, side by side.
- Budget: set your total, add what each vendor costs and when each payment is due. We send a reminder before a payment is due.
- Guests & RSVP: add your guests and share your RSVP link. Guests answer online, with the names of the people coming with them and any dietary needs.
- Checklist: what to book and do, month by month.
- Rundown: plan your wedding day, or several days, hour by hour.
- Vows: write your vows, locked with your own 4-digit PIN. They are encrypted on your phone, so your partner (and even balibridal) cannot read them.
5. Your vows on the day
- Set a 4-digit PIN that only you know. You then see a recovery code: write it down. We also email it to you, only to your own email.
- Open your vows with your PIN to write or change them. They save automatically, and lock again when you tap Lock, close reading mode or leave the app.
- Before the ceremony, open "the vows page" once while you are online. At the ceremony it opens even without internet: enter your PIN, read in large text, and tap Lock.
- Forgot your PIN? Tap "Forgot your PIN?", enter your recovery code and choose a new PIN. Without the PIN or the recovery code, nobody can open your vows, not even us.
6. Turn on notifications
Tap Turn on notifications on the Home screen to hear about new quotes on your phone.
Lost your link? Go to My wedding, enter your email, and we send it again with a new code.
